The theme of the conference was "Standards in ELT" and it was attended by 950 teachers, 120 presenters from all over Colombia, Mexico, the U.S., the U.K., and Canada, along with 16 publishers and book distributors. It was truly inspiring to see the dedication of Colombian educators in taking on the challenge of improving standards in English language proficiency, teacher training, and professional development in their country. The dynamic discussions and warm spirit of the Colombian people were invigorating as ever. The following are photos taken at the conference, which took place at the beautiful and spacious Centro de Convenciones Pozos Colorados in Santa Marta.
